Duffer was the pen name of Tilly's father, whose poems Tilly often featured in his own Hazard column in the newspaper. Tilly also popularized the term "Duffer's Headaches," referring to bunkers that posed challenges for amateur golfers. During the Great Depression, Tilly was commissioned to travel nationwide to redesign courses, aiming to enhance their quality and affordability. He advocated for the removal of thousands of costly bunkers, thereby improving golfing experiences across the country.

The color of this pullover pulls influence from the color tones of bunkers, and may just help you stay out of them...

Keep warm and comfortable with The Tilly Golf Herringbone Quarter zip. With a four-way stretch and premier comfort fit, don't expect this q-zip to constrict any type of swing, throw or handshake. Perfect for those early morning rounds.

Vintage Influence - Modern Tailoring

The Tilly Golf Story

In a world where flashy golf apparel seems to dominate the fairways, Tilly Golf offers a refreshing departure from the norm. We understand that while golf is a game of precision, strategy, and skill, it's also an opportunity to express your unique style and personality. However, we believe that there's a middle ground between the garish and the mundane – a place where maturity, modesty, and fun coexist seamlessly.

    The Mashie

The Mashie - Ivy Green. Really well made shirt and very comfortable. I’ve worn it on and off the course and will buy more.

    New Designs are Amazing

Certainly love the old designs. New designs really show off the work done designing these shirts. I would expect nothing less from the Tilly Golf team.

    OMG friggin love this shirt!

Super comf, silky feel. Keeps the sweat out of the pits and the eyes on the prize. I think it was shortened which is great because I don’t tuck my shirt like those guys in Utah.
